• Ensure seamless, high-performance operation of our backend, frontend, and mobile systems, maximizing uptime and reliability.
• Drive cross-functional alignment by collaborating with product managers and engineering teams, ensuring our technology aligns with business priorities.
• Build and lead a cohesive DevOps, IT Ops, and engineering ecosystem, setting standards for excellence and compliance.
• Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain backend services in Python (FastAPI) to support seamless service delivery.
• Frontend/Mobile Development: Lead and contribute to mobile app development (Typescript, React Native, Expo) and web frontend (Typescript, React).
• DevOps & ITOps: Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes orchestration, GCP infrastructure, and ensure security in IT operations, including Google Workspace and Apple systems.
• Data Infrastructure: Maintain and scale our data ecosystem, leveraging Google BigQuery, Apache Airflow, dbt, Postgres, Redis, ElasticSearch, and more.
• Incident Management: Oversee incident response and ensure high availability, with proactive troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Microservices Architecture: Maintain and evolve a robust microservices-based architecture to support business scalability.
• Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to align engineering efforts with strategic objectives.Technical Leadership: Mentor and support the team in solving complex technical challenges while maintaining high standards for compliance and best practices.

• 10+ years in software engineering across backend, frontend, DevOps, and data infrastructure.
• Familiarity with fintech regulations (e.g., PSD2) and compliance frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python (FastAPI), Typescript (React Native, Expo, React), and a microservices-based approach.
• Strong experience with GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitLab, ArgoCD, and tools like Google BigQuery, dbt, and Apache Superset.
• Familiar with Google Workspace and Apple ecosystems, with a focus on zero-trust security models.
• Skilled in high-availability infrastructure management and troubleshooting.
• Ability to mentor, communicate effectively, and lead by example.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving with an eye for detail and commitment to quality.
• German language proficiency is considered a plus.
